Reminder: Be sure all trash is bagged before placing it in a container.
Trash Containers Service
The city will pick up only one trash receptacle per residence, business, and church. Each additional container picked up will be charged a user fee of $96 per year with a two receptacle limit per residence, business, and church.
Debris Pick Up
Normal seasonal trimmings such as tree limb cuttings, shrubbery, and other yard debris will be collected by the city so long as it meets the following conditions:
- Yard debris must be cut in not more than 6 inches in diameter and 6 feet in length and placed on a front corner of the owner's or resident's property near the street or public alley.
- If a commercial tree cutter does the work, the owner or resident must contract with the tree cutter to carry off the limbs, cuttings, shrubbery, etc.
- If the yard debris does not meet this criteria, the debris will not be picked up by the city.
